European Union Collection
Books, brochures, periodicals about the EU
In November 2001, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the Parliamentary Library invited a tender for city and village libraries to promote and spread information and news about the EU. The aim of the tender was to provide every region of the country with general and specific information about the politics, economy and history of the European Union, the Hungarian integration and accession.
Our library was among the 33 supported libraries. By 2007, thanks to the successful, annual tenders, a collection consisting of nearly 500 books, brochures, periodicals, CD-ROMs.
The documents are available for everyone, they can be borrowed in order to help widen readers' knowledge and to help studying and orientation.
All documents of the EU Collection can be searched for in the online catalogue.

We would like to welcome you in our library during the opening hours. You can choose from 20000 books, 130 different periodicals and newspapers, 400 videocassettes and DVDs and 200 CD ROMs
from Monday to Friday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
on Saturday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (valid only between 1st October and 31st May)
